Eugene's mom passed away last week. Everyone called her Oma. Here's a link to Ann's blog entry about her life and there is a link to photos at the end.

What an amazing tribute. Very well done.
I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman. However, from what I read, she lived and amazing life while she was here!

WOW - being Dutch myself, I got a huge kick out of the list at the end of Ann's post. You gotta love the weird paradox of frugality and extravagance. I feel like I know her! Thank you for sharing her life in that way.
Our condolences, especially being so far away from her at the end of her life. Again - it is awesome to read her story and I pray it is healing for the family to have it documented in such a beautiful way!
